Happy Monday!
I don't know about you
but at FrenchGardenHouse this last month of summer is a time of
relaxation {and gathering inspiration for fall and holiday!}
Welcome to Moday Morning Blooms!
We all created a floral arrangement with shells and flowers,
at the end of this post, please be sure to click over
to visit my three inspiring friends to see their summer floral beauty!
To capture summer's beauty, my arrangement is really, really simple.
Summer time is busy, and at this time in the season,
I like the simplicity of all white.
We just remodeled our guest and our master bathroom....
{and I say just but it took three months!}
I couldn't love the result more -
I'm displaying this summer bouquet there.
I'll do a little reveal next time!
FLOWER RECIPE
Miniature Calla Lilies : )
The little calla lilies look extra special in this antique Prattware pitcher,
don't they?
Even though we live by the ocean, our family is going
to the lake for a last bit of summer fun!
I can't wait - I love it when everyone is together -
my girls, their husbands, and our 3 little people.
{right now I'm thinking "should I get a spray tan?!"}
I hope you are enjoying the last month of summer too!
Thank you so much for visiting me today.
Be sure to visit these inspirational MMB friends!

Your antique shell pitcher is beautiful Liddy, and the simple white calla lilies are perfect to dress it up but not take away from it’s charm. The loose shells on the counter are the perfect touch! Enjoy your vacay!

Oh, that is stunning in its simplicity, Lidy! Love the glimpse of the bath, but it’s the oyster plate and compote with shells that add just enough flair to elevate the entire look!

So French, so sweet, so simple, so coastal and so lovely! When I saw the photo of your lake house I felt so at home because we have the same look and layout at our coast house which is on a river but not far from the beach. Thank you Lidy…can’t wait to see the reveal of your newly remodeled bathroom.

Thank you so much Mary, I’m praying for less than super hot weather! But will enjoy it to the max anyway. : ) It’s always a blessing to join you, Shirley and Pam for our Monday flower therapy too!

Pam, I can’t wait to be at the lake. If it’s only a fraction as nice as I think it will be, it will be spectacular!! Thank you for being my darling Monday Morning friend, I’m always so inspired by you!! xo

Ally, I love that you have conch shells in your shower!! What a lovely way to start the day, with the soothing inspiration of the ocean in your mind. Happy Summer Day to you too! xo

Beautifully Simple Floral, Lidy. I love the quote by Robert Wyland in your post. Although not living near the ocean, I do love the addition of shells, especially in summer. I always keep 2 beautiful conchs inside my shower on a shelf for morning inspiration year round. Shells are scattered throughout the house from seaside adventures. Memories of past and dreams of future treasure hunts. Happy Summer Day! L, Ally

Kitty, thank you. I love using our antique silver pieces around the house, they don’t get the opportunity to hold chocolate bonbons half as much as they want to! xo Lidy
