After a long winter, spring's arrival is a breath of fresh air with a burst of vibrant color. Can you think of a prettier way to celebrate the season than by bringing the beauty of blooming bulbs indoors? While we eagerly await the garden's awakening, let's embrace Bursting Blooms - Bringing Spring Indoors!
Today, Pam, Mary and I are so excited to welcome back our friend Shannon of Belle Bleu Interiors. I will share all the links to everyone's spring flowers at the end of this post.
While we're still in cold temperatures, and (just between you and me, okay?) I'm getting over a really bad cold, but the joy of spring is not far away. We're all ready to add a touch of nature's magic to our home decor, nes't pas?
Because of said bad cold, I'm a little behind in all departments at home and at FrenchGardenHouse. So I'm sharing images from a spring photo shoot I had at FrenchGardenHouse for ads for my favorite magazines - Southern Home and Victoria. Kind of a 'multi-task' thing, I hope you don't mind!
{My Mr. FGH nurse would only let me out of bed for short bursts of time- so I did the photo shoot all together for you, and my magazines!}
I set up a table and collected French antiques from the shop to have their 'star' moment' with spring bulbs and some of my favorite spring flowers. The pink hyacinths in the glass bulb jars were bought 'as is' the lighter pink hyacinths in the antique crystal jar I was able to buy as a bouquet at the florist.
Early Spring Cheer: You'll beat the late winter blues by enjoying spring blooms weeks before they show up in your garden.
Aromatic Delights: They'll fill your home with the sweet scents of hyacinths, daffodils, and paperwhites.
Living Decor: Their natural beauty will transform any space in your home.
Easy and Rewarding: You can buy your bulbs already blooming, but forcing bulbs is easy even for beginners.
This large hotel kitchen antique French coffee server almost got filled with flowers, too, but in the end was just asked to stand tall and look pretty amidst all the flowers.
One of my favorite spring flowers {not a bulb} is the helleborous. I added some of our helleborous from the back garden to the larger floral arrangement with two kinds of ranunculus too. The colors are incredibly beautiful!
Bring out the colors of spring! These antique Old Paris pieces love the company of spring bulbs, and other spring flowers. This is the season to bring spring's bulbs indoors, it's a simple and impactful way to infuse your home with the beauty and fragrance of the season. Get creative with your containers, and enjoy the blossoming beauty of spring, right in your own home.
Thank you so much for joining me today for some floral therapy! While I didn't set the traditional table with my spring blooms, little settings like this {or part of this scene} will be a lovely way to get some spring inside.
I cherish your gracious comments. Wishing you a joy-filled week- and one with a touch of spring!

While I typically don’t go all in with spring color in my decor, it absolutely gets all my senses going, and makes me think i should go for more of the brautiful spring colors. Lidy, these vignettes are all stunning! I love, love, love the hellebores. I have yet to see one daffodil bloom yet, as winter is winning the battle over meteorological spring in my area. I look back on last year’s photos and see so much color. Your post is just what the Dr ordered. Speaking of, I hope by now you are feeling more human again and back to yourself. Happy MMB, even though it’s now Friday. 😉

Hi Lidy,
I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling poorly of late and hope by the time you are reading this that you are well on the mend. I admire your getting up such a marvelous post when not top drawer! All these wonderful colors and blooms have my heart singing. It’s a bit till we see full-on spring here in Michigan but you are bringing it to me, along with all those glorious staging touches.
Thanks, too, for popping by yesterday to Marmelade Gypsy. Isn’t the Crypt and St. Martin’s a wonderful spot to enjoy London, its music and its architectural beauty and history? So glad you came by.

Lidy, I’m sad you have been sick, but grateful your guy is keeping close tabs on you so you will be back to your self soon. Many of my friends were hit hard by the flue and respiratory illness in recent weeks. I’m thrilled to see these beautiful, inspiring photos. Your photos are exceptional as are the vignettes of your treasures interspersed with beautiful blooming bulbs. Hyacinths are obviously a favorite for me. I was excited to see a few pop up blooming in my own garden. I would love to plant them solid! Take care and get well soon. Happy March!

Happy March, Lidy! I’m so sorry you have not been feeling well. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. As always, you have so many pretties. I am swooning over the pink floral plates. All of your florals are beautiful and have me dreaming of spring. You always create the most breathtaking displays for your magazine ads. My sweet friend, I hope you have brighter days ahead, and I will keep you in my prayers.❤️

Happy March Lidy! Love your spring vignette with your bulbs and curated treasures! If spring had a fragrance, it would be hyacinths! I adore your big pink Ranunculus, I rarely find them at my supermarket (oh to have a Trader Joe’s!) As always, it’s a joy to share some flower therapy and Monday Morning Blooms with you. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead! 🌷 💗

Good morning, Lidy! Your table set with French antiques and spring bulbs is a burst of spring beauty! The large hotel antique French coffee server is amazing. How stunning is the antique French market basket planted with pink tulips and a white hellebore, I love hellebores and don’t know why I haven’t planted a couple in my garden. I agree the artichokes look like sculptures on the antique French scale. All of your French pieces bring such a lovely charm to your gorgeous vignette. I am glad you are feeling better.
It is always a treat to join you for floral therapy and Monday Morning Blooms!

I’m so sorry you’ve been ill too, as Pam was sick as well. Hoping you feel better soon! Your pictures are absolutely stunning, such gorgeous pictures of all the blooms! Spring is such a wonderful time of year, and the parade of blooms really is incredible to see. Love the French coffee server, what a beauty, and how you had blooms planted in different antique containers. Visiting here from Pam’s site :)
