Oh the beauty of white ironstone! I love the simplicity of the all white. And those drainers are perfection – I’ve never seen them before!

Cindy,
Thanks so much for your visit today! I hope that you will once again be visiting antique shops in the future.
A collection of ironstone is always a treat to behold, isn’t it?

Lidy, you put together such beautiful pieces. I enjoy it with some color for our home. Starting to collect at 53 and not able to get around antique shops I choose pieces I really love.
With my new MS drug who knows a year from now moving in antique shops may be happening again
Enjoy your day

Shirley, I was so thrilled to find so many unusual and rare to find pieces recently. The ironstone market is so strong, that it’s getting really rare to find pieces in “near perfect” state, especially ones that are over 160 years old! I agree, ironstone goes with everything.

Lidy, your ironstone treasures are truly beautiful. The way you mixed the toleware with the ironstone makes my heart sing. Whether ironstone is used on the table, sitting on antique books, or holding a bouquet of flowers, it is always stunning!

Sharon, they are scarce. Very scarce to find. I was so fortunate that my “picker” dealers in Europe have been saving them for me for a year or so. And most of them sold even before they came on the website to collectors who had been anxiously awaiting their arrival here at FrenchGardenHouse…I carried them on the plane with me!
