Antique Brass Tapersticks {Candlesticks} Pair, these have seen plenty of use over the last century and a half or so. Made in the early Victorian era, they have baluster stems and square canted corner bases. These were were cast in two parts: stem with socket and the base. Not for the perfectionist, one has opening splits, no doubt after being dropped by the jr. footman several times. The tops also have some wear, Please only adopt these if you love that, like I do. { of all the candlesticks I bought on a recent trip, these, while the least grand, and the most “lived” called to me. Imperfect.}
