Thanksgiving is the time to design a warm and cozy atmosphere for your family and friends. Learn how to create an elegant table scape that will make your guests feel welcome! Today I'm sharing a small Thanksgiving Table Inspiration - our kitchen set up for drinks, appetizers and desserts.
Welcome! I am so glad that you are here. I always enjoy our time together, especially on our special flower therapy Mondays. I am joining my dear friends Mary and Pam today, and will share their links at the bottom of this post. Always inspirational, I know you will love visiting them as much as I do.

Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and that means it’s time to start planning your table decor! We are going to be in Seattle with our family for Thanksgiving, but I do have several "friendsgiving" type of things coming up. Instead of serving a full dinner, we're sharing appetizers, drinks, and desserts. It's a little more casual and most of my friends want to share their favorite "tried and true" or "new" appetizer or dessert with each other. This little set up is perfect for that.
Creating a beautiful Thanksgiving table setting is easier than you think.
With just a few simple tips, you can create a Table setting that will wow your guests and make your Thanksgiving even more special.
Here are four tips to get you started.
1} Choose a color scheme. This will help to unify your table's look and make it cohesive.
2} Use lots of natural elements, this is the perfect time to take advantage of the rich colors of leaves, pumpkins and fruit.
3} Don't overthink your table linens. A simple runner and cloth napkins really make for a festive table.
4)} Don’t be afraid to use candles! They add a warm and cozy feeling to any room. happy planning!
I started by choosing this gorgeous Linen Runner in a warm Cognac color. Napkins to match make for a beautiful autumn colored first layer.
Once I spied these big pomegranates, I knew I wanted to make the flower centerpiece in colors that echoed their color palette. These ruffled garden roses are amazing, aren't they? Some seeded eucalyptus and pink red proteas complete the looks, and I tucked in two little white mini pumpkins. Usually I put these on a skewer, but because the base of this arrangement with the protea and seeded eucalyptus was pretty sturdy I could just place them in there and they stayed!
The antique teapot is a great container, I love that it is covered in leaves and acorns. I placed it on a large antique ironstone platter with a garland of leaves all around the rim.
The vintage forks and spoons with bakelite handles suit this season so beautifully. Arranged in the 19th century treen trophy cup, they add another layer of delicious autumn colors! The organic beeswax taper candles not only smell good, they add such a pretty glow.
I love using antique and vintage glasses, they don't even have to match! {Although this time they do} Using different glasses always adds to the conversation, guests notice when a glass is antique or vintage and has something special about it. These Needle Etched Crystal Wine Glasses have flowers and branches etched into them.
By using fall colors and seasonal decorations, you can give your holiday table a festive and elegant look that will impress your guests. I hope you get inspired and start planning your own Thanksgiving table setting masterpiece today!

Sarah, I would love for you to join me! I am excited that your niece loved your mother’s crystal to use an make memories with, don’t you? It really is heartwarming, like you said. The protea is not always my first choice, but they actually look really beautiful with a variety of flowers. xo

Beautiful Lidy! So simple but so lovely. The crystal glasses call for the best champagne as they are beautiful. Hope your Thanksgiving is full of good food, love and safety,

Lidy, I’ll have a glass of my favorite Veuve Clicquot champagne in one of those exquisite stems. They remind me of my mother’s wedding crystal from the 1930s. She gave it to me, but I have since passed it on to my niece who asked for it. It is heartwarming to see the younger generation embrace family heirlooms and take joy in using them. Truly it brings me more joy than using them myself!
I agree about drinks and appetizers. They make the perfect low key celebration, and your antique teapot filled with those amazing roses is a stunning centerpiece. I love the leaf and acorn details on the teapot paired with the mix of protea, eucalyptus, and pomegranates. I need to remember to use protea in my flowers and also pick up some pomegranates to have on hand. They add a festive touch. Thanks for sharing the autumn inspiration and highlighting my favorite colors.

What a gorgeous vessel and vase for your flowers your teapot makes Lidy! I love the acorn and leaf details on the lid. And those roses…wow! Big and beautiful blooms to pair with the protea, eucalyptus and pomegranate. Gorgeous stemware too! It reminds of my MIL’s wedding crystal pattern she chose 60 years ago. You’re serving my favorite tipple…cheers to November and Thanksgiving! As always, it’s a treat to share blooms with you on the these Mondays. ♥
