19th Century Treen Turned Wood Goblet Vase or Trophy Cup, turned on a lathe. This wood cup has a footed vase shape and incised decoration. This cup has beautiful patina, and has great color. The bowl has shrunk out of the round which denotes age, there are age splits as well.
Beautiful to use for so many different purposes, to hold a collection of silverware, hold a group of feathers, use on a desk to hold fountain pens, or simply display on your mantel on a stack of books. This is a decorative piece where, when you hold it, you can almost sense the care and love that went into making this.
