Sweetened with brown sugar, and tossed with sweet cream and butter and a sprinkling of chopped pecans. You can thank me later.
It's the best fall popcorn, ever!
When we first moved to the states when I was a little girl, one of the most wonderful things I begged my Mom to make on our Friday nights at home was popcorn! Being from Europe, at that time popcorn was not something Europeans ate. But I loved it at first bite. Since then? I've owned every popcorn maker imaginable, and love nothing more than a good book and a bowl of popcorn.
Don't blame me if you make this when you are all by yourself! I suggest making it o n l y when you have someone else to eat it with.
I've served this at very "posh" parties, and sent each guest home with a bag. Some of our guests are quite spoiled in the "party favor" department, but each of them was thrilled to get a delicious home-made gift to take home! It's a little gesture that everyone loves, not too many people have the time to make gourmet snacks to gift!
