Easter will be here before we know it and it’s time to think about setting an Easter table. This year’s Easter table reflects all that is beautiful about the season: the colors, the flowers, the sweetness.
A welcome sight after winter, I’ve Set an Easter Table Filled with Blooms.
WELCOME TO MONDAY MORNING BLOOMS!
I’m always so honored to join this group of oh! so talented friends, this time we have my dear friend Kelly of My Soulful Home as our special guest. Kelly has a gorgeous blog, and a podcast that you won’t want to miss!
For this year’s table-setting for Easter, I’m keeping it simple and elegant and full of spring inspired charm.
Can I just wax lyrical for a moment about the centerpiece? This is a combination of the most beautiful hydrangeas my son-in-law picked up for me, along with a birthday bouquet the same s-i-l and daughter sent me from Urban Stems. {Those light pink ballerina roses that fully opened on the top of the bouquet? Yes, they kill me with their beauty.}
Easter spells out beauty, the rare beauty of new life.

Easter is such a special time of hope and renewal!
I always confess on these special Monday Morning Blooms that I don’t actually DO anything to the flowers, they come beautiful. Just cut at a slant, pop in a vase, and they look amazing!!
I used a vintage Madeira tablecloth as the base, this one is covered with the prettiest flowers all over. It’s a soft blue grey color, and the perfect background for the Chintz dishes.
This Chintz pattern is called Apple Blossom, isn’t it so enchanting covered with all the flowers in pink, blue, yellow and white? It was made by Charles Kent, in England. Nothing brings on Spring more than flowers.
I added antique white Limoges plates with a gold rim in between the larger and smaller plate. The gilt edging echoes the gilt trim on the Apple Blossom, and also the beautiful gold glass Vetro goblets.
Our Hares make an appearance with their jaunty checked ribbon bows. The colors in the ribbons are almost an exact match to the colors in the flowers. This table scape has a simple but elegant look that I love.
Classic styling, maybe a little bit more fancy than I normally do, but then it IS Easter! Little boxes of jelly beans in sweet colors and an Easter cookie are a little treat at each place setting.
I added a chintz saucer underneath the floral centerpiece for an extra pop of color.
My table is ready for Easter! I hope you are inspired and take away some ideas to use on your own Easter table this year. Maybe you will Set an Easter Table Filled with Blooms too!
Thank you so much for your visit, and for being the sweetest readers out there! I cherish your comments, and look forward to hearing what you will do for Easter this year.
It’s still early, so you have some time to maybe fuss a little bit with some of your own pretty linens and dishes to create a lovely table-setting to celebrate Easter!

Lidy, What beautiful hydrangeas and bouquet! Those hydrangeas provide the perfect pop of blue and pink along with your roses to pair with your Apple Blossom Chintz. I love it layered with your gilded edge Limoges and atop your vintage Madiera linens…so beautiful for an Easter table. What a sweet addition your beribboned hare is too. As always it’s a treat to join you for some flower therapy on these Mondays. Wishing you a beautiful week. <3
What a lovely way to start a Monday morning! The tablescapes with breathtaking flower arrangements, the linens, silver and crystal are a reminder that we should celebrate seasons and use the beautiful things we have. Thank you for sharing these photos with us!

Lidy, your Easter table is blooming beautifully. I agree, the ballerina roses are so pretty in their pink glory. How sweet of SIL and daughter to send you a gorgeous floral arrangement for your birthday that you are able to share with us. I adore the “apple blossom” chintz plates on your pretty vintage Madeira cloth. It is always a pleasure to share Monday Morning Blooms with you! Wishing you a delightful week!
Beautiful elements for this Easter table, Lidy (and Happy Belated Birthday!). The French Madeira cloth is exquisite. I love the Walter Raleigh quote, pinned to capture both the words and beautiful image.
Your tablescape is SO incredibly lovely…I honestly shivered…in a good way. EVERY SINGLE THING was a treat to behold…JOYOUS! Thank you. franki

Lidy, this table is so beautifully elegant. Though formal, it is inviting for all who come. Love the flowers.
Lovely and Gorgeous just as you are
Lidy – you left me breathless with all this beauty! Those hydrangeas are very special – a bit of pink & blue! Thank you for having me along with you, Mary & Pam today. What a wonderful way to kick off day light savings Monday – pouring over your flower filled posts as the rain pours down. xx
The flower arrangement is nothing short of beautiful. If I close my eyes I think I can smell the roses. And the Apple Blossom Chintz pattern so fits the flowers. Many years ago when Chintz was the things I bought the Apple Blossom tea pot which I still have and have used it to serve tea. I look forward to each and every one of your post to educate and to bring a little happiness to my heart.
