The Joy Of Spring Collection

 

 

The joy of spring. Spring is a season of emerging, of fresh beginnings and of new life and vitality.  Our latest Spring Gift Collection focuses on the joy of spring, celebrating the rituals and feelings that spring evoke in all of us.

 

 

 

Since I curated our very first spring collection a few years ago, this is one of my very favorites.

 

{Do I say that each time?}

 

 

 

I am still inspired by all the same things for this seasonal collection – the celebration of nature, that’s awakening all around us.

 

 

This small collection is filled with decorative accents that will allow you to bring a fresh new look to your home.

A few beautiful additions to help you refresh and renew your home as well as your spirit. This collection is filled with special little things that can help you do just that.

 

 

 

The artist who creates our limited edition French Hare Buckets made these beautiful Wall Decor Pieces.  On oval hand cut wood, she uses her special process to decoupage the antique image of the hare on the front.  Not just for spring or Easter, some of you have been waiting for a long time for another rabbit, bunny, hare {whatever you want to call them!} to add to your collection.  I love him…so dapper.

 

 

 

 

I add these beautifully hand made French lavender wands to our linen closets here at FrenchGardenHouse. You gently squeeze the lavender “cage” to release the fragrance. Since the wands can only be made during harvest time, I’m always thrilled to be able to obtain a selection for us.

 

 

This new collection focuses on the beauty of spring, the celebrations, the emotions and the holidays of this fresh new season.

 

 

 

 

Each year, I search high and low for a rabbit couple that will capture the heart.  This year, I fell in love with these large “felted” bunnies. They are very light weight, and covered with felt and “fuzz” so that they look felted.  Each one carries a gilded peat pot on a silken ribbon filled with a faux floral arrangement.

 

 

 

 

 

At FrenchGardenHouse, I’ll be changing things up ever so slightly, replacing some of the darker colors with the bright, fresh colors of spring.

 

FRESH LINENS.

I embrace the nature of every season here at home.  The sky is blue, the sun is shining, the birds sing, and I want to bring that natural world inside.  You too?

The tables I set are no exception!  Spring table linens bring that natural world inside, reflecting the light, fresh air and feeling of this season. EASTER

I’m always looking for small, special touches that will make your Easter celebrations special. If you are celebrating the holiday with an intimate gathering, a beautiful tablecloth and a few candles will add that celebratory feeling.

 

This set of gift tags / name cards can be used in a variety of ways.  Reprints of the antique hare print you love so much, they are oversized, and printed on blue linen archival card stock.  You can order them with a hole punched in the top, or without.  Use them for gift tags on Easter baskets, as place cards, write a menu on the back, or a favorite scripture.  These are exclusive to FGH, and cut by hand.

 

 

 

 

The other version I had created is from a favorite antique print of birds.

 

 

 

Our gilded Rabbits are just the thing to take a buffet table to wow.  They are made of gold finished pottery, and each one has a gilded basket filled with a pink peony bouquet perfect for the season.  I had these made in very limited quantities…they come as a pair. {the other one is different.}

 

 

 

PASTEL CANDLES.

 

Tap into the bright energy of Spring by using pastel colored candles.  Softly colored candles change the feeling of any room, our soft pink and French blue tapers are especially calming, creating a nurturing atmosphere.

 

 

 

A favorite hostess gift, we wrapped each pair with satin ribbon and added a springtime box of luxury matches. Hostess gift = done!

 

 

 

LUXURY GIFTS.

Each season I try to find a few unusual gifts, for you and to gift.  From a token of your affection to a grand gesture, each one is something I would personally love to receive and DO give. {Or it’s something you can give yourself. That’s always an option too, non?}

 

New this season  is our Luxury Taste of Provence Gift Set, it contains two of my favorites.  Two bars of delicious Marseille soap, and a box of hand made caramels in honey lavender. Each one embodies the charming Provencal towns, and draws inspiration from the region’s luminous landscapes, rich history, and local artisans.

 

 

 

 

 

These bags are made by a local artisan. Each one is a one-of-a-kind creation, using vintage fabrics, upholstery trims and designer fabric. They are a fun change from your LV, and just right for this fresh, breezy season!

 

 

 

I have restocked the soft and luxurious cashmere shawls in a few new colors. Because honestly, you can never have too many of these!  I use them for walks on the beach, in the plane, by the fire-pit in the garden, on a chair when I’m reading and the evening has gotten a little chilly.

 

 

 

It doesn’t take much to celebrate spring.  I hope you’ll fall in love with my latest collection for spring as much as I have!
