Pair of LARGE exceptional 19th Century French Blue Opaline Vases in bright jewel tone ocean blue. Brilliant and stunning opaline glass, beautifully hand adorned with gilt stars. A very chic color addition to any décor, they are elegant French style at its best. I usually only find these in a much smaller size, this large size is a rare treat.

In exquisite condition for their age, and exceptionally rare to find together. The gilt on the top of the rims have worn here and there after over a century. They are signed on the bottom. Their large size make these perfection on your mantel, a large buffet, or on the center of your dining room table. Objet d'art by themselves, but breathtaking with your favorite flowers for an elegant and gracious dinner party. Sold as a pair.
