French Country Willow Market Basket with Swing Handles

A French willow market basket brings a wonderful sense of country living to your home. I snapped this up at a brocante recently. With its generous shape, graceful swing handles, and naturally varied willow, this vintage basket has the character that makes a room feel collected rather than decorated. Its lovely patina and signs of wear give it a well-loved appearance, making it a natural fit for your French country kitchen, garden room, or beside a favorite chair.

Take it into the garden to gather flowers and clippings, use it to hold linens or a favorite throw, or fill it with seasonal branches and gathered blooms when friends come for lunch. Its versatility makes it just as appealing in your living room as it is in your country kitchen. Full of character and wonderfully useful, this is the kind of French country find that brings natural texture and a sense of history to everyday living.
