Exquisite Early 19th Century Flow Blue Staffordshire Transfer Plate with a decorative scene, made by Joseph Heath, at Tunstall, Staffordshire, England. Lovely scenic design of an ornate grand estate on the water, with lovely landscape, a castle and church spire in the distance.
Gorgeous deep cobalt flow blue color, this paneled plate was made in the earlier half of the 1800's. An elaborate wide floral border dances all the way around the rim. Carefully kept as a family heirloom by a collector. A beautiful addition to your collection of French, English and Continental blue and white pottery. Shows three stilt marks as the early plates do, marked on the back.
