Decorative deep Blue transferware plate, made by Royal Sphinx, Petrus Regout, Maastricht, Netherlands. The Royal Sphinx pottery was founded by Petrus Regout in 1834 in Maastricht, Netherlands. This plate dates to mid 20th century, the pattern is a beautiful center floral bouquet surrounded by an ornate blue border. A wonderful addition to your blue and white collection, from a collector's estate, display this on a stand with your other blue on a mantel, or serve your most delicious home made croissants to guests at your gracious table. Measures 8~1/2".
