Its form is a study in graceful utility with a generously wide, shallow bowl sweeps upwards, its clean, classic lines designed to beautifully present a bounty of fruits, pastries, or decorative objects. The venerable ironstone body is bathed in a lustrous, creamy-white glaze, the color of rich Devonshire cream. In wonderful antique condition, with only two losses on the bottom of the rim, not shown on the side or top.
