A charming late 19th century English Staffordshire spaniel, full of character and 1800's appeal. This sweet little companion dog features individually painted hair details arranged in delicate semi-circular strokes, traditional markings, and a rich wine-colored collar and pendant that add wonderful personality. Created using a press mould, this antique spaniel captures the charm of the beloved dog figures that decorated Victorian homes.

His attentive expression, seated pose, and carefully applied painted details make him a wonderful addition to your collection of antique decorative objects, bringing charm and character to your home. Please note, there is a diagonal firing fissure along his back, created during the original kiln firing process. This stable characteristic is consistent with antique ceramic production and has been taken into consideration in the price. He's a lovely example of the small decorative treasures that bring warmth, history, and personality to a collected home.
