Antique French Trade Card with a huge shell featuring a charming Victorian ocean scene, a family walks on the sand, a lighthouse in the distance. From a private collection, this is for Maison Phillippe Latour, of Paris, a maker of "Fancy Shoes." Beautiful chromolithograph, with the best graphics. Dates to 1800's.
On the back, the advertisement MANUFACTURE DE CHAUSSURES FANTAISIE. The back has worn and aged as shown.
