Antique French Vanity or Jewelry Box, elaborately embellished with Metallic Lace, French Silk Ribbon Roses, and passementerie trims. A true feminine, romantic and very collectible piece, lace boudoir, sewing and vanity items were made in France in the 1800's, very early 1900's. The variety of decorative laces and trim are what makes this box special, the have darkened to a lovely patina.

From the estate of a collector, considered in good antique condition, this large dressing table accessory box is in a feminine green color, the pansies on top made of silk ribbons make it special. On one side the gold lace is pulling loose as shown, there is aging and darkening on the lace and fabric. The larger boxes and caskets are especially desirable.
