Antique French Herb Chopper with Pine Handle, used for over a century in a Provencal cuisine. Hand forged, the blade is riveted into place to the handle. Choppers or cutters like this were traditionally used for a multitude of purposes in the kitchen, to cut herbs fine, and to cut portions of dough neatly into equal portions.
There is wear, aging, and everything you want to see in a culinary antique like this from the late 1800's. We have oiled the handle, cleaned the steel and sharpened the edge. Use or display with a collection - a beauty! Complimentary U.S. shipping included.
