Antique Edwardian Silver-Plated Revolving Dome Chafing Dish

A beautiful example of Edwardian tableware, this antique silver-plated serving dish has an elegant oval form and a wonderfully distinctive revolving dome. The domed cover rolls back to reveal the serving dish beneath, while the ornate feet and handsome side handles give it the presence of a special piece of formal tableware. The original pierced inner liner is still present, along with the second liner, making this an especially complete example of this type of revolving server.

The liners allow it to be used as intended, with hot water beneath the serving dish to help keep food warm at the table.
