Antique French Country Folk Art Courting Mirror with Red Tulips

Those beautiful red tulips are what make this antique courting mirror so special! Painted against a black background, with French Country colors of mustard yellow, cream, green, brown, and silver. The back was layered with card long ago, and papered over to protect the glass. A perfect smaller size, it's getting rare to find mirrors of this size. Decorative, with the gorgeous aging of the mirror we love, perfectly imperfect. The mirror has just a tiny bit of ghosting and age and patina, and nice "dry" paint. The paint has mellowed with age, and the original mirror glass and old papered backing add to its appeal.
