A beautiful asset for any gracious table, this early Antique Continental Sterling Silver & Vermeil Sugar Sifter Spoon is beautiful. Known as a Saupoudreuse, this one has an exquisite vermeil scalloped pierced bowl, and a feminine handle patterned with elegant Louis XVI Rococo styling.
The sifter spoon has a gilt washed pierced bowl, with shell detailing where the bowl joins the handle. Meant for sprinkling powdered sugar over fruit or dessert - Muffins, Crumpets or Cakes. A gorgeous and sturdy piece to add to your collection of fine silver, and to add to your gracious entertaining.
