Details

19th Century Molded Relief Teapot , Acorns & Ivy, made by Cork & Edge, who began their pottery business in 1846 in Burslem, Staffordshire, England, producing a variety of pottery until 1860. Tea pots and pitchers like this were shown in the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1855. Made in 1850, this tea pot has seen generations of use, as you can see it has discolored with plenty of patina.

Not for serving tea, but a gorgeous tea pot to display with your favorite flowers from the garden {insert a glass inside for water, it has a very very slow leak} I bought this as part of a big collection, and just like me, the collector was enamored by the autumn branches, leaves, and that little acorn on the handle! Please only adopt this beauty of if you love it as is after 175 beautiful years.

  • Measures 8-1/2" x 4-3/8" x 8"h.
