19th Century Historical Staffordshire Pearlware Plate Cannon Hall, Yorkshire, made in Staffordshire, England between 1815-1820. This beautiful historical plate features a scroll border, and a romantic historical scene. Cannon Hall in Yorkshire, England had its beginnings in the 13th century, but was built in its current size {depicted on the plate} forJohn Spencer Stanhope by John Etty of York and William Thornton.
The center shows Cannon Hall from across a river, with two ladies and a small child on the other side taking a country walk. The blues go from light to deep cobalt blue shades. Very good condition for being over 200 years old, an heirloom addition to your collection.
