Amusing remnant of the past, this antique French Optometrist Eye Testing Drawer or Case is decorative, even if it's no longer complete. Part of a specially designed drawer cabinet in a Dr.'s office. Used long ago with little lenses that fit in each velvet lined slot, and numbered for strength, now it's a decorative and quirky accent for your wall.
A storied antique, the case is wood, with patina, wear, and exciting tales to tell could it speak of village visits to the optician.
