Antique French Lemaire, Paris Black & Leather Opera Glasses made by the French luxury accessory house in the late 19th century. By the second half of the 19th century, these fine binoculars had become essential fashion accessories for theatre goers. Perfect in size, just right to tuck into a gentleman’s pocket, or a lady’s evening bag.
Fully operational, signed Lemaire Paris. These have wear, parts of the leather have worn from use. I love that, but please only purchase if you do too. Wonderful placed on top of a stack of your favorite Antique French books for display, a fun addition to your collection!
