19th Century French Napoleon Mannequin

$0.00

Love at first sight! I was bowled over by this diminutive Antique French Mannequin, made by Stockman, Paris, France, the world renowned Parisian mannequin maker. From a luxury shop, this rare to find child’s mannequin from the Belle Époque period dates to 1872, it has the original linen upholstery. Beautifully made, this decorative display piece is stunning, use as a piece of art, or display your collection or Napoleonic Medals or Military Banners. These are called Napoleon mannequins in Europe.

Free standing, made of papier mache and wood, this has the original painted boots, with exceptional patina and wear we love to see, as shown. Nicely hand carved finial, an heirloom addition to your collection. Extremely rare to find a mannequin in this size and condition for the age of this collectible piece, these were used to display luxurious Victorian period hand made clothing for children for years, then often destroyed when a “newer” model was purchased to go along with the en vogue new fashions after 1900. Requires special shipping, USA only. Wax tiara sold separately.
