Antique Madonna Tiara Religious Crown

Exquisite Madonna Tiara dating from to the early 1900’s. Made in Czechoslovakia, used in a French church to grace the head of a nearly life-sized religious statue. Santos or Madonna crowns are becoming increasingly hard to find.

This one is beautifully created by master craftsmen, set with stunning sparkling stones in two sizes. The large rhinestones are just gorgeous, set in prongs, just like the smaller stones. Two of the stones were replaced, they are on the ends. This is a fabulous addition to your collection of religious or opera crowns and tiaras. Pillow not included, sorry, that’s a keeper!

Rarely seen ornamenting statues today in Catholic churches across France, each surviving crown is a special part of French history, especially beloved by collectors. Crown measures 2~5/8″ high x 5~1/2″ w. {it is bendable}
