How to Write a Thoughtful Mother's Day Note
I want to wish all of you a beautiful and blessed Mother's Day. I know for most of us, it may not be the way you normally celebrate it. I'm going to focus on the blessings of having had the best grandmother and mom, and of having the honor of being a mom to two beautiful, kind and caring young women. Want to write your Mom, grandmother, sister, friend or daughter a heartfelt note but need some help? With these tips on how to write a thoughtful Mother's Day note, you'll be a pro! how to write a thoughtful mother's day note HOW TO WRITE A HEARTFELT NOTE: 1. START WITH THEIR NAME. I know, that should be a given. But it's the first step. "Mom", "Dear Nicole", "Adorable Friend", "To the BEST Sister in the world." You get the idea. 2. SHARE A SINCERE COMPLIMENT. Write a thoughtful sentence that shows why you cherish their presence in your life. Sharing a sincere compliment will let you share something you think all the time, but probably don't ever say. I usually get away with saying the most "mushy" things in notes that would make especially my girls roll their eyes if I said it out loud. {But I bet they keep those notes!} 3. REFLECT ON A SHARED MEMORY. Make your note personal by sharing a sweet memory of a fun time, or maybe even a difficult time, when they really helped you. It's those shared memories that connect us to the people we love on a deeper level. 4. END WITH A KISS. Finally, end with an expression of love and affection. That could be anything from I love you to Iove you to bits to you'll always be my first best friend. Make it personal, and an expression of you and your personality. How to Write a Thoughtful Mother's Day Note That's really all that there is to it! Sometimes I over think a note, but once I start writing, it gets easier. I wish you a blessed weekend, and a Happy Mother's Day too.
