Easy Holiday Chocolate Favor
FrenchGardenHousefavors I want to share this easy, but beautiful dinner party favor with you! , It's festive, delicious and has a little sparkle, perfect for this time of year. A few nights ago I went to our Giving Circle {read about what that is HERE} and wanted to bring something small for everyone. I bought these French Chocolate bars, dark chocolate with sea salt {!} and saw the little glitter clip-on birds at the store a while back and purchased quite a few, knowing they would be perfect to add to gifts for our neighbors and friends. fghchocolatefavor These chalkboard printable labels are beautiful! They are from Lia Griffith and not only are they lovely, you can edit them before you print! I personalized these to say: For Holiday Stress, Break open bag immediately. Merry Christmas! After you personalize each label, you print and cut , it couldn't be easier. fghchocolatefavorslabels I printed the labels on a heavier card stock, cut out and punched a hole for the red and white polka dot ribbon to go through. Any ribbon will work, I just happen to have a few spools of this charming French grosgrain ribbon at home. fghchocolatebarfavor24 Each bar was wrapped in a simple cellophane bag and tied closed with the ribbon, I attached a silk holly leaf on top of each tag {holly from bits and pieces of holiday greens and wreaths of long ago, I keep the leaves and berries that are still good in a zip lock bag for these kinds of embellishments} tied the ribbon, clipped on the bird, et voila! A sweet, easy little gift favor for our holiday dinner. So easy to make, not at all expensive and very festive looking. I hope that you will make something like this for your own parties or gatherings with your friends. Merry gifting! Please follow my boards on Pinterest to see what else I am pinning for the holidays! So cute – will have to make these for the girls that are decorating my house for the holidays, I give them a special thank you luncheon each year and this little favor is perfect for that.
