Soft Yellow & Timeless Blue: Styling a Spring Tablescape for Easter

My starting point is this favorite {new} French yellow and blue tablecloth — that feels like sunshine woven into fabric. The pattern is cheerful yet refined, setting the tone for a gathering that is joyful but never overstated. Yellow brings warmth and optimism; blue lends balance and quiet elegance. Together, I think they create that perfect harmony between celebration and grace.
Where love once seemed buried, grace blooms again.
At the center of the table: a bunny pitcher {I use it every Easter} brimming with yellow tulips and alstromeria.
There is nothing complicated about tulips, their graceful stems and cupped petals feel hopeful — almost as if they are stretching toward the season ahead. Arranged loosely, they look as though they were just gathered from the garden and placed there without fuss.
Each place setting begins with a stunning classic white Arte Italica plate — crisp and luminous against the patterned cloth. On top, an antique French Gien blue and white plate {birds!} adds depth and history. The layering is subtle but intentional.
White provides a fresh canvas; blue and white introduces story. The interplay between the old and the new — the new cloth, the antique porcelain — is what makes the table feel curated rather than too decorated.
