Happy March! It's almost spring, and that's so exciting, isn't it? Today I'm joining my friends in sharing our Spring & Easter Inspiration! Rabbits and nests make for a cheerful spring table setting - this is my Delights of Spring & Easter Table.
Today Pam, Mary and I are thrilled to have our friend Sarah join us.
You can find Sarah at Hyacinths for the Soul - you will love her as much as we do.
Cheerful flowers are the calling cards of Spring. Arranged simply in antique ironstone, the blossom and bloom of each one says "Hello Spring!"
Easter is a big thing at FrenchGardenHouse. After church, we host an outdoor Easter lunch and egg hunt for family, friends and neighbors. Our Easter brunch 'table' is usually very relaxed and simple. To celebrate all the new life that is budding and blooming this time of year, it always includes spring flowers in mostly bright colors.
Spring flowers for Easter are just as pretty and festive {SPRING is a joyous occasion!} for any other Spring entertaining. These bunnies hopped onto the table to join in the spring fun!
I began styling this table inspired by these beautiful antique plates with purple blue flowers. I already had the green cabbage larger plates and they are the perfect under-plate for the top plates!
Our favorite blue ruffled round linen place mats set the stage for all our spring tables. Make a statement on your table with real napkins, it’s those little details that make your table feel special. These blue ivy linen napkins from Europe continue in the color palette. {They also are wonderful to mix with white napkins, or light blue ones, for a mix and match look.}
These herbes pewter napkin rings jumped in to join all the spring blooms and leaves to grace this setting.
Serving prosecco for spring celebrations, or mimosas, is my favorite light drink. I add pretty pitchers with two or three different kinds of juice, and offer a non-alcoholic version, too. Drinking celebratory drinks from a lovely antique crystal glasses such as these that have a hand etched floral pattern make it more festive and special.
Make sure a little spring or Easter treat is part of your table setting! I usually sprinkle some little chocolate eggs around the plates, or sometimes fill up everyone's glass with them.
For spring, there are so many beautiful table accessories you can add. I'm not a huge fan of too many small 'things' on the table, but I love these beautiful artisan made pewter gilded hummingbirds for salt and pepper. They come with their own little woven nest plate - adorable!
The centerpiece of any table here at FrenchGardenHouse is flowers. Spring has the most glorious flowers!
These spring flower arrangements are displayed in antique ironstone. Pink tulips, pink ranunculus, white hyacinths and blue grape hyacinths make my heart beat faster. Yours?
To give the table a little height, I place the two floral bouquets on an antique French carved foot stool from Normandy. Varying the height of table settings always adds interest!
I hope that spring is just around the corner for you! I know I can't wait...this season of renewal is glorious.
I hope you have enjoyed this Delights of Spring & Easter Table and that you are inspired to create your own beautiful tables with spring blooms, pretty dishes and linens and perhaps a little bunny or two!

Thank you so much for your visit, Jenna! I can’t wait for Easter, just hoping the weather won’t be too chilly! We’ve had a pretty wet and wild winter here in Southern California this year. It’s always a joy to have you join our floral fun on our special Monday Morning Blooms!

Thank you Mary, I love all the bright happy colors of spring flowers as much as I know you do! I agree, hyacinths smell just like spring. I do wish the grape muscari would last a tiny bit longer, but happy to have had them in this floral arrangement for a few days. Always a joy to invite you at my table, friend!

Thank you so much Sarah! The flatware is French, in France, silver flatware sets were a traditional wedding gift in France but did not include knives. Giving knives was thought to ‘cut’ a relationship, so knives were sold seperately, and meant to be purchased by the bride and groom themselves. I fell in love with these, despite the fact that there are tarnish and/or corrosion spots on the blades- these knives were made with steel blades, not stainless steel, which wasn’t invented until 1913.
The placemats are one of our best sellers at FrenchGardenHouse, these are blue linen chambray, which is a delightful lighter touch for spring and summer! Thank you for joining us today, it is always a blessing to share our lovely blooms together with you! xo

Thank you so much, Pam. We are all so looking forward to spring, aren’t we? So fun to join together with all our friends to enjoy our monthly floral therapy! xo

Nancy, they are so lovely aren’t they? I haven’t been able to discover the pattern of these particular glasses, unfortunately. Glass, when it isn
t marked, is sometimes difficult to identify!

This is just delightful Lidy! I love the pink, and blue flowers and their bright green stems & leaves in the beautiful white pitchers, they really pop off the page! Your Easter tradition sounds wonderful, how fun to host a brunch and an egg hunt, I hope the weather is perfect! Your casual buffet looks beautiful and the little Easter touches, the nests with eggs, hummingbird S&P, and the bunny with flowers are so cute~have a wonderful time!

Good morning Lidy, Your pitcher of spring blooms is so happy and bright with mix of pinks, blues and whites, perfect to welcome spring or for Easter brunch! I adore ranunculus but rarely find them at my area grocery stores (oh to have a Trader Joe’s!) If spring had a smell, it would hyacinths. I always look forward to picking up a pot or a few stems if I’m lucky to find them. The muscari are so sweet and some of the first signs of spring. Love your beautiful blue plates, etched goblets and beribboned bunny. Yes a mimosa in your etched goblet would be that much more special. The sweet hummingbird salt and pepper set with nest plate is adorable. As always, it’s a treat to share some flower therapy with you, Happy March. 🌷🌺💗

Lidy, I love scrolling through this lovely post thinking how special it must be to gather at your home for an Easter celebration brunch and egg hunt. I can close my eyes and see it all if full color. Your tabletop details always grab my attention and my heart. The beautiful monogramed flatware is envious! Please tell me more about these pieces. I’m all for a glass of bubbly, too, but a glass full of chocolate eggs sounds equally as delightful! You think of everything!
I love seeing your cut grape hyacinth stems. I grow them as well, but don’t think to go cut them for arrangements. Now I will!!! They are some of my favorite spring blooms. Flowers always look perfect in white ironstone, and I love to fill mine with blooms in the spring. Currently a large ironstone pitcher is filled with red bud blooming stems.
I love using my velvet CLD placemats as you do. I think they elevate the setting like no other and they are large enough to layer another texture on top of them. Your antique plates are lovely. Honestly, every detail in this post is beyond lovely. Thank you for inspiring and for including me in this month’s Monday Morning Blooms. I much appreciate it! Happy spring!

Alice, thank you for always encouraging me! I use paper for BBQ ribs too, or anything else supremely
messy. Fortunately Mr. FGH loves ironing, because otherwise the linen ones just appear folded on our table. I wish you a blessed spring, friend! xo

Yea! You are back with a beautiful Easter setting. And yes cloth napkins are always on my table. Well maybe not always when I’m serving bbq ribs I put a stack of paper napkins for everyone to have fresh napkins often. I enjoy ironing the napkins, think it’s because I’m remembering the fun at the table. Have a blessed week.

Your table settings are always beautiful and so colorful. Do you have any information of the antique Chrystal glasses? I have some of those. That was the pattern my mother picked when she got married.

Oh I hope the weather is good here, too!Thank you and wishing you a blessed Easter!

Love the deep purple and strong pinks in your flower arrangement. Hope we have good weather for a Saturday brunch outside. Kids will hunt eggs in just about all weather except a drenching downpour!

Thank you so much Shannon! The sun is shining today, and I’m thrilled it’s almost spring weather here. Wishing you a beautiful week, dear friend!

Delightful and Beautiful! I just love what you put together for and Easter Spring Tablescape. Oh and I couldn’t stand it any longer….I thought for sure those adorable Hummingbird Salt & Pepper Shakers would have sold by now. When I saw they were still available I snatched them up quickly. I swooned over them on one of your last posts and almost bought them then. When I was setting my Easter centerpiece on my table I thought to myself “I should have purchase those Hummingbird Salt & Pepper shakers…I’m sure they gone.” I can’t believe they were still available! I’m so thrilled to add them to my collection. I adore hummingbirds and these adorable little guys will get so much use. It just goes to show good things come in small packages! Can you please remind me of the Artist’s name who created these? I thought for sure I pinned that post but can’t seem to find it. Love your website and posts!

Good morning, Lidy. Your cheerful flowers of blue, pink, and white are delights in the antique ironstone! Pink tulips and ranunculus with white and blue grape hyacinths herald that spring is on the way! The antique plates with purple blue flowers are so pretty mixed with ruffled linen place mats and blue ivy napkins. The herbes pewter napkin rings are the perfect jewelry for the table. The antique carved foot stool adds lovely warmth to your setting.

Lidy, yes, arriving to March is almost as joyous an occasion and Spring itself. Your flower arrangement is the perfect ‘calling card’ to spring (I love that!). Your entertaining ideas are just as beautiful as the tables you set, and the offerings you sell. Happy March!
