Amazing Make-Ahead WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY SCONES
whitechocolatescones White Chocolate. Raspberries. Scones. Make Ahead. Bake Frozen. Doesn't this sound PERFECT for the holidays?! frozenscones Mini White Chocolate Raspberry Scones are filled with melted white chocolate chips, studded with sweet raspberries, and drizzled with vanilla icing. I am making up batches of these little wonders to freeze, so that when friends and family come over for the holidays, I can put a few trays in the oven to bake, and wow them! Thank you to Lisa Hatfield Torres, chef extraordinaire, for sharing how to make these on her blog with all of us! holidingraspberries These are just right to make with children, they make lovely teacher's gifts, or gifts to distribute around the neighborhood to all your neighbors! Children love to help, and our little people adore fresh raspberries {note to self, better buy more than needed in case of "taste testing" by little people!} and chocolate. They will delight in stirring up batches of these. And the miniature size is just right. raspberries For the full recipe, please see Lisa's directions for Mini White Chocolate Raspberry Scones. Lisa has the recipe there that you can print right from her blog! She also has full directions with photos. {I'm so lucky to be her friend - and that she lets me share her delicious recipes with all of you!} Below is a photo of the scones frozen...you can put them right in the oven like that. I love that, they're already "ready" to bake, and her icing recipe stays good in the refrigerator for a few weeks. frozensconedough Light, fluffy and soft, these scones are made with crème fraîche and heavy whipping cream. These are everything you want in a scone and more! Make these up, wrap in cellophane bags with a gorgeous bow, and present to someone you love in a beautiful antique silver bowl, or if you adore French Country, with one of our antique French pottery pots filled with jam! What a stunning host or hostess gift that would make! delicioustablewhitechocolatescones Don't forget to pin this to your Holiday or Baking PINTEREST Boards! Lidy, These look scrumptious. Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 GF flour should work well. A tip for you and your readers, put the flour in a paper sack, fold the top of the bag down twice, hold on tight and then shake it good! It will fluff up and make a lighter scone. :)

Alice, I have to be gluten free too. I’m going to make these with one of the wonderful gluten free flours, I think there is one called “one to one” that is supposed to work just as well as regular flour.

Let’s try it! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, sorry Ginger! I know, I know, but one or three at holiday time can sneak by, non?

These just look so good, my plan is to make, freeze and only bake when our whole family is here for the holidays,
that way I’ll be too busy to eat many.

Oh Lidy, you little temptress! Just when I’m buckling down on my low carb diet. Those look to die for! I can resist anything but temptation! (Oscar Wilde said it first). Enjoy several for me!

I always make my scones and freeze what I will not need for my tea’s. I can always pull out some from the freezer when an unexpected friend shows up. This is the best way to have two or three miniature scones for a tea. Guest think you worked for hours the day of the tea.

Oh if only. I’m gluten free so will have to make these with gluten free flour however gluten free flour does’t hold together that well. Maybe I’ll try them anyway as they are the perfect thing to have at the ready for guest. Thanks for sharing.
