Weekly Favorites: French Boudoir Colors

Loving these two colors this week:  Lavender.

and Apricot. {Both were very popular in the early 1900’s.}

    Must be something about heading into spring. I have shied away from pastels since I was about 4 years old. Suddenly at 51, I am loving soft pink, butter (French of course) yellow, and a light shade of Tiffany box blue. I am even WEARING the colors and my wardrobe consists of black, browns and white. I love the lavender and apricot vignettes you posted…quite inspiring!

    1. Deanna, those colors sound wonderful! And like you, I used to be completely “allergic” to pastels, but now, LOVE THEM!

    I adore the French Boudoir Colors. I’ve done my kitchen in the lavender and my bedroom. The apricot is delicious, I’ll have to try and use it as an accent color. Love your blog.

    1. Thanks, Bernice! I bet your kitchen is beyond glorious in Lavender.

  3. Looking at those colors just makes me feel vibrant! I wear quite a bit of the apricot colors during summer months. It’s always been a fav of mine.

    Blessings,

  4. Shanna, with your coloring, I bet you look positively stunning in the Apricot shades, I’m going to follow your lead and try to wear more of it too.
