This little centerpiece bowl is all about the details. At just 7 inches across, it has a wonderfully ornate presence, with cherubs, flowers, scrolling leaves, and raised relief covering its beautiful footed form. It will look special on a bedside table, a console, or simply resting on a stack of your favorite antique books—one of those little treasures that makes an ordinary corner much more interesting. 

The outside has a lovely bright finish, but the interior shows considerable wear to the plating, with the base metal showing through in places. So loved by the family that owned it it was profesionally repaired on one leg in the 1940s. Not for the perfectionist, that kind of age is part of its story, someone mistreated this at one time- I bought it anyway because the outside is so stunning. Please only adopt this if you can live with the wear inside. Use it to show off a few of your precious small garden roses, or fill it with potpourri, when it is full you can only see its gorgeous work on the outside.
