Vintage French Country Basket, made of woven willow, with two swing handles for carrying. This basket was found at the brocante market, and it's perfect for enjoying nature with a picnic. These baskets are such workhorses, they are wonderful for anywhere in your home. {I had the dealer hang a tag on it with my name and "VENDU" the minute I arrived.}
This large beauty is not perfect, the side of the lid has separated but is very firmly attached. The handle has a break as shown, but not to worry, it has a thick metal core so will not become broken. Please only adopt if you love this, it has seen generations of families and lots of baguettes and bottles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
