This is a vintage Dutch basket in faded Delft blue, once a practical workbasket, and a beautiful example of European folk art for everyday life. Originally used in kitchens for storing bread, vegetables, or household essentials, baskets like this were carefully made for durability and function.
Now it’s a beautiful decorative accent, its tapered silhouette and handles make it as functional as it is attractive.
