Stunning 19th Century Hand Painted Roses Gold Encrusted Copeland Dessert Plate I

A truly stunning 19th century Copeland dessert plate, exquisitely hand painted and hand enameled with a lush bouquet of roses in romantic hues. The rim is richly encrusted with hand-applied gold in a scrolling rococo pattern that beautifully frames the floral center. So fabulous, the rim is lavishly encrusted with raised gilding in an ornate rococo design, shimmering with opulence. Each plate from this period was painted by a skilled artist, making it a miniature work of art, the most ornate, gilt encrusted museum quality hand painted plate. Made by Copeland, England, especially for Gilman Collamore & Co. - a very high-end luxury shop rivaling Tiffany & Co. and Black, Starr & Frost - in 1890.

Exceptional design, with hand painted gilt embellishments, hand-painted pink roses, a rose bouquet floral center, on a pristine white molded design. With hand painted enamel decoration, these plates take your breath away for either display or table settings. This fine porcelain plate showcases the exceptional artistry and craftsmanship of the 1800's. In excellent antique condition with only the most minimal signs of time and use. A rare treat for your porcelain collection, add a touch of romantic grandeur to your table or display. In superb antique condition with only the lightest evidence of age.
