A beautiful set of six antique Continental porcelain dinner plates with graceful floral scrollwork in soft romantic colors. The hand-painted decoration reflects the lightness and restraint associated with porcelain made in the French taste, allowing the creamy white background to remain the focal point. Lovingly hand painted, with raised white enamel accents and 24 kt gilding that catch the light softly.

Gently scalloped rims are finished with hand-applied gold, giving these plates an elegance that feels just as lovely today as it did more than a century ago. The gilding shows age and wear in places, a reminder that these plates were once part of gatherings, celebrations, and everyday meals shared around a table. At a traditional 9½ inches—what would have been considered a classic dinner plate size. Unmarked, the plates bear a small gilt infinity symbol, likely a decorator’s or retailer’s mark.
