Lovely Pair Antique French Hand Made Lace Sconce Shades with Gold Bullion trim. The silk wrapped metal frames have been covered with hand made French laces. Hand made lace covers the under-layer on the bottom of French metallic lace trim.
A delight, they are 'as found', they have darkened to a cafe-au-lait color as shown, and you may want to straighten the edging a bit. Inside, the 19th century style metal clips to slip over a light bulb. Incredibly rare to find, especially in this condition! Sold as a pair.
