Antique Sterling Silver Curved Spoon with Embossed Rabbit, such a delight! Made by R Wallace & Sons, Mr. Wallace began his silver company in 1834. The rabbit is wonderfully done, he is in the garden, of course! This spoon is more often found with a birth weight place in the bowl of the spoon, this one doesn't have that, which I love because it doesn't necessarily have to be a baby spoon. Here at home I use little sterling spoons like this to scoop out my loose French tea for a perfect pot, sometimes to serve a fruit sauce over a dessert.
This particular shape works especially well for that, as you can 'hook' it on the bowl. Engraved with the name Glen on the top of the handle. Marked underneath as sterling. A sweet delight, especially in this season!
