Antique Porcelain Half Doll Lamp, French Lace Skirt, Marie Antoinette Bpudir Light

This early 1900's porcelain half doll lamp has that rare kind of presence that quietly transforms a room—French lace, alabaster porcelain, and Marie Antoinette-inspired styling all together in one evocative boudoir form. Her porcelain figure is beautifully modeled with softly blushed lips, a refined Pompadour coiffure, and that luminous “alabaster” complexion collectors look for in fine half dolls. With her arms held away from the body, she has that graceful, floating quality that gives her unmistakable charm.

Her skirt is especially striking—finest French Bretonne needle-run lace in a soft café-au-lait tone, falling in pointed drapes around the hemline. It is tied at the waist with metallic gold ribbon and finished with delicate ribbon rosettes, adding warmth and subtle shimmer. Perfectly sized at just 10-1/2" tall, she displays beautifully on a vanity, dresser, or bedside table without overwhelming the space—an intimate scale that makes her easy to place and enjoy in your home.

The original porcelain bulb socket is still present beneath the skirt. While it has been rewired by a previous owner, we always recommend having it checked by a qualified electrician to ensure current safety standards. A decorative survivor from the early 20th century, she brings together softness, history, and light in a form that is increasingly difficult to find.
