Antique French Souvenir Jewelry Box, sold as a souvenir of Cathedral St. Vincent de Paul long ago. The image of the cathedral is captured underneath the thick beveled glass top. The little oval box was gilded, the inside retains the pink silk lining.
This box, purchased in Paris, has some very very tiny bird's feathers inside, we have left these as this is how it was bought. A sterling addition to your collection or the beginning of one. The smaller boxes like this are more rare to find - due to their size they were more easily 'misplaced' or lost.
