Exceptional Antique French Ribbonwork Gold Lame Lace Photo Frame with Glass, a true feminine, romantic and very collectible piece. A find, desirable boudoir frames like this are rare to obtain in any condition, this one is in very good condition for its age. The variety of decorative gold metallic laces and trim are what makes this frame special, the have darkened to a lovely patina. There is glass to protect the photograph.
From the estate of a collector, considered in good antique condition, the back is cardboard, the stand is present {most often this is not the case}, the photograph slips into a slot in the back, it has a glass front. The lavender fabric behind the photograph has age related soiling and watermark, this does not show, of course, when you insert a photo. The photograph displayed is not included, display a gorgeous picture of your beautiful children, grandchildren or pet.
