Antique French Palais Royal Blue Opaline Glass Perfume Bottle with an Eglomise top. Made in the mid 1800’s of hand blown Opaline glass with stunning ormolu mounts and hinged lid. Not perfect, the top of the lid has reverse glass painting, it is lovely, there is a break in the glass but the glass is secure.
These pieces were bought as souvenirs of a Grand Tour of Europe and cherished. This is such a lovely piece, the stopper is intact, the glass is a stunning bright blue, the gold dore detailing sublime. An amazing addition to your collection of Opaline or perfume bottles. Don’t miss this one, these are getting extremely rare to find!
