Collectable Antique French Lavender Purple Enamelware Bougeoir, or Candleholder from the late 19th century. Fabulous rare color, fading from white to lavender purple. Used for decades in France, with charming wear and patina. Modeled in the shape of a clam shell.
These simple candle holders add so much ambience & character to a room. Please only purchase her if you can love her with all her age. Chipped edges, the very top has a touch of hand painted gilt striping to dazzle your eye. The French owner painted part of the rim on the bottom with gold paint. Perfect if you love the patina of time, add this to your collection of enameled wares.
