Antique English Automobile Wicker Picnic Basket

Antique English Automobile Wicker Picnic Basket with enameled plates, hand blown glasses, a wicker encased bottle and the original enameled food container and flatware. This is a wonderful and rare find, an amazing piece. Not in perfect condition, but oh so charming!

The wicker basket has a handle on one side, and compartments on the inside. While the leather straps on the inside lid are no longer there, it's still impressive that this "trunk picnic" set is all together. These were used both at every day picnics, as well as concours events. Love this one! Perfectly imperfect, a reminder of days when going for a Sunday drive was a such a pleasure for families.
