Original Antique Black & White Steel Engraving of Oxen, so perfect in any French Country decor! Absolutely charming, and so very decorative. This print is from 1807 and was taken from a dis-bound book of the Encyclopedia by A. Ress. If you love animals, in particular Long Horned and Lancashire Oxen, this is a rare treat! Bought from my very favorite print dealer in England.
Prints with Bulls and Oxen are so avidly collected, and for good reason. Aging as shown, all the prints from this book were cut at the top. When you have matted and framed, they are fabulous addition to your collection. Display this in your office, family room, hallway, or anywhere where you want to show your love for country animals!
