The jar is complete with its original fitted lid. Made around 1820, with a faceted foot, incised under the bottom. The domed lid has a flower design on the very top. Whether you envision it gracing your bar filled with olives or your dining room filled with colorful candies, or simply displayed as a stunning decorative accent, this beauty is sure to be a conversation starter. An impressive piece, it does have two small dark inclusions in the bottom as shown. The top has two nicks, from that time that a new footman served his first tea at the estate, and sadly dropped the lid from nerves. Please only adopt if you can forgive this beauty that!
