19th Century Ironstone Staffordshire Large Transferware Serving Platter

19th Century Ironstone Staffordshire Large Brown Transferware Serving Platter made by J H W & Sons, of Hanley, Staffordshire, England in 1892. Beautifully decorated with am Aesthetic leaf and floral garland all around the rim, a fantastic size to serve a holiday meal, to use for serving charcuterie {what I use these large ironstone platters for at our house} and everything else. A big platter like this also makes a great base for a table setting centerpiece, just place your floral arrangement on top, add other decorative pieces and you are done.

Signed on the back with the J H W & Sons back stamp for 1892. Beautiful to display, a great platter for showing on your French buffet in the dining room, to serve at your table, or to use as a tray for small objets d'art. In good antique condition, please enlarge the photos.
