Beautiful Ironstone Shaving Mug, made by Carl Tielsch in Altwasser, Silesia. Founded in 1845, this mug dates to the mid 1870's. Mugs like this held a shaving brush, and were used daily, that this one survived without chips or cracks is a small miracle.
Use this as part of your collection, to hold make up brushes, antique pens, or your favorite flowers. It's a beauty.
